Brightpath Assessments

In 2014, Associate Professor Stephen Humphry and Dr Sandy Heldsinger established the company Pairwise and successfully developed and commercialised the Brightpath software. The business builds upon research undertaken at the University of Western Australia to provide teachers with accessible ways of collecting high quality data about their students for a range of learning areas including those not amenable to large scale testing.

Software was developed to make the assessment process readily available to teachers and the principles of Software as a Service have informed this development.

ClickView

ClickView believes in using the power of video to transform education. 

Founded in 2003, they have evolved from a tech start-up into world-leading content producers of curriculum-aligned video titles for educators and students. 

With offices across Australia and the UK and more than 90 staff worldwide, they support over 4,000 schools and colleges around the world. ClickView is on a mission to create meaningful experiences for students at all levels of learning.

Cluey Learning

Cluey Learning delivers a personalised tutoring experience for students in Years 2-12, across Maths, English and Chemistry. They make learning support accessible and convenient so that tutoring can be booked at a time that suits each child’s schedule. Learning sessions take place live and online via our learning platform, which means students can log in from the comfort of home and work with their expert tutor without interrupting the family schedule.

All of their content is mapped to the Australian National Curriculum and is based on the unique learning needs of each individual. All sessions are recorded and can be re-watched for future reference, and parents can see what their child has learned.

Education Horizons Group

The Education Horizons Group (EHG) was created in 2016 via the merger of longstanding education software companies, Synergetic Management Systems and SEQTA Software. Since then, enterprising EdTech providers including Engage, myEdOnline, SchoolPRO and OMNILINK have joined the Group, bolstering the ability to offer schools customised end-to-end software solutions that truly empower administration staff and teachers to complete their work in the most effective way possible. EHG delivers outstanding support to over 1900 schools.

GO1

GO1 is spotify for education. Started in 2015, GO1 is now an established leader in online learning and education working alongside some of the largest companies in the world covering a wide range of industries and regions.

They license content from over 1,000 providers such as UNSW, Thomson Reuters and Blinkist and package this learning content into one easy to use subscription.

IDP Education

IDP is a global leader in international education services. We help our customers study in English speaking countries. Our success comes from connecting students with the right course in the right institution and the right country. 

IDP has been operating for 50 years, creating a huge network of opportunity with offices in over 30 countries. In 2017, they acquired the Hotcourses Group, a leading course search database and student engagement company. The Hotcourses Group is now integrated into our client relations services under the new division, IDP Connect. IDP is also a proud co-owner of IELTS, the world’s most popular high-stakes English language test, and operator of nine English language teaching campuses across South East Asia.

Inquisitive

Inquisitive has everything you need to teach History and Geography (Years F – 6), with Science and Technology now being added.

The lessons use original stimulus resources and guided inquiry, so students learn with purpose and depth. Preparation time has been minimised by weaving all the requirements of the Australian Curriculum and state requirements into the lessons.

Cross curriculum priorities and general capabilities have also been thoroughly addressed. Units include assessments with differentiation, for completeness.

Janison

Janison started in the 1990s in country NSW, is an Australian-owned, ASX-listed education technology pioneer whose team of experts and developers innovate online assessment and learning solutions for global corporations, governments and education bodies. 

Their trusted assessment technology streamlines the examination process for educational institutions, cutting the turnaround time from delivering exams to reporting the results. They also have proven scalability that few other vendors can match – transforming NAPLAN testing across Australia, delivering the Aptis English language test for the British Council in more than 140 countries and providing improved testing for VALID in Australian schools.

Literacy Planet

LiteracyPlanet is a comprehensive online literacy resource for students in K-10. The program has thousands of interactive exercises that are aligned to the 65 curriculums globally and covers all key areas from phonics, sightwords, spelling, reading, comprehension and grammar.  

LiteracyPlanet has customers in more than 70 countries and is used as both a core and supplementary program to support the development of english literacy skills in native speaking and ESL environments. Started in 2010 with a mission to help students and teachers through making learning fun, the program has continued to evolve as digital learning becomes more established in the classroom. 

Matific

Matific is an award-winning educational software company with products sold in over 50 countries and available in over 40 languages. Matific was founded in 2012 by global experts in math education and computer science. Since then Matific has helped millions of students across the world. Matific’s core strength is its 10 pedagogical principles developed by experts from Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley and the Einstein Institute. The Matific pedagogy is inspired by many years of experience of working with mathematics teachers in elementary schools.

TALi 

TALi Health is an evidence-based platform that is built to assess, detect and train attention in children. TALi provides early childhood solutions to improve attentional performance, and tools to assess and detect inattention.
